Is Tattoo My Ass a scam?
No. You are buying homepage advertising inventory: when you hold #1, your logo, name, and tracked website link sit at the top of every visit. Lower ranks still get a public listing. The tattoo is an extra prize for #1 only — not the whole product.
What you always buy
Verified payments buy name, approved logo (or placeholder), website link, tagline, leaderboard rank, and archive placement. That advertising stands even if someone outspends you later.
There is no lottery ticket and no refund just because you lost #1. That is how advertising inventory works.
What would be a scam (and is not happening)
A scam would take money with no listing, fake rankings, or a guaranteed tattoo that never ships. Here the board is public, payments are verified server-side, and the tattoo only unlocks when the Tattoo Prize Rules and approvals clear.
Chargebacks and disputed funds are removed from the ranking. Nothing is tattooed until the winning payment is sufficiently verified.
Quick answers
Do losers get nothing?
No. Losing #1 does not erase the advertising you already bought. Your listing and archive placement remain. You do not get an automatic refund for being outspent.
Is the tattoo guaranteed if I pay?
No. The tattoo is only for #1 at close if the Tattoo Prize Rules are met and the design is approved. Paying for advertising never forces a refused design.
